These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of seatsidekick.com (the "Service"), operated by SeatSidekick ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
SeatSidekick provides information about resale ticket listings for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and related events. We aggregate publicly available pricing and availability data and present it for informational purposes. Paid users may opt in to receive automated alerts when listings match criteria they specify.
We are not a ticket seller, broker, marketplace, or agent. We do not sell tickets, facilitate transactions, hold inventory, or take part in any purchase you make. All purchases occur on third-party platforms operating under their own terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under applicable law. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information when signing up.
- Keeping your account credentials secure.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us promptly at hello@seatsidekick.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, attempt to circumvent paid features, or engage in fraudulent activity, with or without notice.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source of any part of the Service.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercialize data or alerts obtained through the Service without express written permission.
- Share account credentials or paid-feature access with others.
- Submit chargebacks for valid charges or otherwise abuse payment mechanisms.
- Interfere with the Service's operation, security, or other users' access.
- Use automated tools to create accounts, generate alerts, or interact with the Service.
Violation may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of paid features without refund, and potential legal action.
5. Paid Features
Purchase. Certain features (such as expanded alerts) require a one-time payment processed through Buy Me A Coffee. We do not handle or store your payment card details. Buy Me A Coffee's terms apply to the payment transaction itself.
Delivery and digital nature. Paid features are digital services delivered immediately upon successful payment confirmation. By completing a purchase, you expressly request immediate delivery of the digital service and acknowledge that you will lose any statutory right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to digital content under EU or UK consumer law.
Refund policy. We offer a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided that no alerts have been delivered to your account during that period. To request a refund, email hello@seatsidekick.com from the address associated with your account.
After 7 days, or once any alert has been delivered, all sales are final. No refunds are issued after a watchlisted match has occurred.
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Buy Me A Coffee, which may take 5 to 10 business days.
Service availability. Paid features are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, alert delivery within any specific timeframe, or that any particular alert will be triggered for a given match.
6. Alerts
Alerts are automated notifications generated based on data we collect from public sources and the rules you configure. You acknowledge that:
- Alert delivery is best-effort and may be delayed, missed, or duplicated.
- Pricing and availability data may be inaccurate, stale, or change between when an alert is generated and when you act on it.
- Alerts are informational only and do not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee.
- Acting on an alert is entirely at your own risk and discretion.
We are not liable for any loss arising from delayed, missed, or inaccurate alerts.
7. Third-Party Platforms
The Service references and links to third-party ticket resale platforms. We have no control over those platforms and are not responsible for their content, terms, pricing, availability, listing legitimacy, or any transaction you enter into with them. Your use of any third-party platform is governed solely by that platform's terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, content, and aggregated data presentations, is owned by SeatSidekick and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. All other rights are reserved.
"FIFA," "FIFA World Cup," and related marks are trademarks of FIFA. SeatSidekick is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, host venues, or any official ticketing platform.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF DATA.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data displayed is accurate, current, or complete. See the Disclaimer for additional information.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SEATSIDEKICK BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).
THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SeatSidekick from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing hello@seatsidekick.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause or notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law, will survive.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, communicated by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
If you are an EU or UK consumer, this section does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections of the country where you reside.
15. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and SeatSidekick regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
